New Giants Safety Chad Jones Released from Hospital

Chad Jones, the safety drafted by the New York Giants, was seriously hurt in a car accident June 26th in New Orleans. He was just released from the hospital today. Jones is set to have another surgery on his foot. In the meantime, he will continue to attend physical therapy.

According to USA Today, “Doctors saved Jones left foot in an hours-long surgery after he crashed his car in New Orleans.” He was then transported to a New York Hospital.

Jones is out for the season, but his agent has high hopes that he will return for the next one. He was chosen in the third round of the draft, which was in April.
